Homeschool Activities: DIY Sight Words Handwriting

Welcome to my Homeschool Activities Series! This is the do it yourself sight words handwriting activity. It’s simple, affective, and free!

Supplies Needed:

Markers

Lined Paper

Directions:

1. Have the sight words list on hand or print out a copy.
2. Using the two lines, write the first word.
3. Skip four lines and draw a horizontal dotted line from left to right.
4. Repeat the process until you complete the list.

Homeschool Student Instructions:

1. Read the sight word.
2. Write the sight word three times.

Do this activity daily or every other day.

I like to keep all of the words that the students complete together, at least until you get to the last word.
