Homeschool Activities: DIY First & Last Name Handwriting

Welcome to my Homeschool Activities Series! This is the do it yourself first and last name handwriting activity. It’s simple, affective, and free!

Supplies Needed:
Markers
Lined Paper
Directions:
For Young Kids:
- Using the two lines, write the first and last name of the student.
- Skip four spaces and draw a horizontal dotted line from left to right.
- Repeat the process until you get to the bottom of the page.
For Older Kids:
- Using two lines, write the student first and last name in cursive.
- Skip 4 spaces and draw a dotted horizontal line from left to right.
- Do this until you get to the bottom of the page.
Homeschool Student Instructions:
For Young Kids:
- Read your name in your head.
- Read your name out loud.
- Write your name on the dotted lines.
Do this activity daily.
For Older Kids:
- Write your first and last name in cursive on the dotted lines.
I do this activity daily with my kids to keep their handwriting skills good.
